Imperialism is a form of nationalism that places its political, social and economic life above another state. It has a wide range of negative effects on the targeted group. European nations have been practicing imperialism since the early 1800s. Europe was a global leader during this period, and colonies were established in Latin America, Africa, Asia, and Africa. The colonies were encouraged to be populated by the citizens of the states that owned them. Europe’s economy was helped by imperialism. It is still possible to see the influence of imperialism in different countries.
DadabhaiNaroji is the leader in the Indian independence movement. He stated that Britain’s rule was a blessing for the nations it oversaw. The rule was called the knife of sugar by the natives, meaning it was both helpful and dangerous. The countries that were considered superior did so by improving the health of the natives, thereby reducing major diseases and increasing the life expectancy of many. They created centres to treat chronic and severe ailments, such as those that were suffered by leapers in 1905. Europeans brought modern civilization to these nations. They built roads and schools as well as better crops. Forcible labour was another option where natives were forced to work as slaves. Colonialists made children work as slaves. A statement from A.E. Scrivener was a European missionary working in Congo in 1903. He showed that the natives were not entitled to their rights and had only to follow their superiors. They were taken to the forest to collect rubber, where they were made slaves. If their bosses didn’t approve of them, they would kill them. This was indicative of the extent to which they were being mistreated and their main goal in colonization, which was the acquisition of as many resources as possible. Because of their greed for resources, the superiors forced the natives to be evacuated from their homes to be monitored and made to work when necessary. This shows they were ready to do whatever it took to acquire colonies and reap the benefits.
Jules Ferry was the French prime-mister speech that Jules Ferry addressed in 1884 to French chambers. It focused on the French colonial extension. This shows how Europeans view themselves as superior to other races. It shows that many countries have been controlled from a young age and are now less able to control their states. It also shows that European nations prefer to stay in control and benefit from the benefits of these countries, rather than withdrawing from them. Jules believed that superiors were entitled to more rights than the natives. This is why they must always be at top. They need to replenish their Navy ships’ supplies and refuel at places like Madagascar or Cameroon. Their colonies are now civilized, which is an advantage for the people. F.D. provided another document explaining how the empire of east Africa came about. Lugard, who served as colonial administrator to Britain1893 illustrates how Europeans feel they are superior races and should be respected. The principal reason the empire was established was to gain respect from Africans through the subjugation of the British. Britain was made to feel superior despite its achievements. Lugard also said that it would have been foolish for Europeans to copy the culture and lifestyle of natives.

He stated that Egypt was of interest to many countries because it was on the high road to Far East. Britain has been overseeing its operations with a large investment in Egypt. This is because of the many benefits that Britain will enjoy by staying in Egypt.
